We maintain a large garden of perennials, roses, shrubs and annuals in Whitehall at the intersection of Main and Mears Streets.  The Whitehall to Hart, MI bicycle trail crosses through this garden.

We have planted two large planters at Whitehall’s Howmet Community Playhouse.

We are developing a working/advisory relationship with Montague High School students in the FFA program.  Under the leadership of teacher, (and club member), Kyle Fiebig, the students are growing food for the school cafeteria; constructing a rain garden; and researching ways to use native plants on the school property.

In May, we hold our public invited plant auction.  This is our main fund raiser with almost all of the plants coming from our member’s gardens.               Click on photo to enlargeClick on photo to enlarge
